What:

PACE (Past Abortion Care & Education) brunch. You will hear from alumni sharing their testimony of healing from the choice of abortion. Each of our speakers will share their healing journey and how PACE was a tool for them to learn of the grace of God, His forgiveness, and His desire for them to live more abundantly.

Handicapped parking available in front of the Social Hall building. Additional parking is available on N. Main Street or in the parking lot behind the Social Hall on 250 N. Street.

Why:

PACE is a study that no one wants to attend. Shame is associated with the decision of abortion, whether it was your decision, or you were directly affected by it. The subject of healing is taboo and many feel that since it is in the past, there is no reason to dredge up the past. And then again, abortion itself is plastered throughout the political arena and we are made to believe that there is no reason to mourn the loss or feel shame or guilt. So, what are we to do? We build community and support one another.

For the women who have courageously battled through the sorrow, the guilt, and the shame they have carried for weeks, months, years, decades; we are inviting you to attend an alumni brunch. In addition, we are encouraging you to bring along one friend whom you know to have been impacted by abortion, whether their choice or directly affected. The brunch will bring together a community of women who have healed and/or desire healing from the choice of abortion. It is time to acknowledge the loss and mourn the children who have left our lives far too soon.
